38 people were found inside of a tractor-trailer at a San Antonio Walmart, 8 of them were dead.
San Antonio police are calling this a horrific human trafficking case. Two of the people who were in the trailer were school aged children. twenty of the people were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The vehicle was found to have no working air conditioner, not that, that would help inside the back of the 18-wheeler. San Antonio hit a high of 101 degrees that day and didn’t dip below 91 degrees until after 10pm.
[…] Authorities were first alerted by a store employee who called the police after being approached by someone from the truck who was asking for water.

“Late last night we got a call from a Walmart employee about a welfare check in a tractor-trailer that was parked in the lot here,” McManus said.
According to police, surveillance video from the store showed “a number of vehicles” picking up people who survived the trip that were inside the trailer.
Weird, almost sounds more like immigrants sneaking over the border and not human trafficking…
